The Leg End of Cora

Lee said I’m only allowed to post one picture of my new baby on the blog, and after much thought and deliberation I’ve decided that I’m just too childish to let this pun go unused.

I’m very much looking forward to watching the real The Legend of Korra, and based on the trailers I’ve seen I have high hopes for it becoming my favorite new TV show.

If there is anyone reading this who hasn’t seen it’s predecessor, Avatar: The Last Airbender (the cartoon, not the film) then I suggest you stop what you’re doing and go and seek it out this very instant. You’ll not regret it.

    Whoa… for a second there I thought that was Winston Churchill’s leg…

Five toes? Every leg-end should have a happy ending.

(Which is not to imply a prejudice against polydactyly … well, apart from Inigo Montoya, and that was fingers not toes … oh, this comment is not going anywhere good ……. sigh.)

Not all leg-ends have a happy ending… There was a famous cricketer who died when his plaster-casted foot got caught in the tracks as he tried to avoid being hit by a train. Took the leg right off, cast and all, and killed him.

        A dead, set leg-end.

(ok, that might be a bit Aussie-centric… Sorry!)
