- FRANKENHOOKER!!!
- Dan respects the man who dresses as a Klingon
- Dan discusses the evolution of creatures with eyes in their mouths
- Lee gives advice on building a rocket
- Dan now LOVES Queen
- Dan and Lee explain the rating system…
- … and the cup of tea test.
Next week the boys are watching Gremlins, you should watch it too so you know what they’re talking about!!

You ALMOST passed the cup of tea test, but my husband called me out of the room to watch a really bad 80′s movie. Ahhhh, the decade of my youth . . . I miss my big hair.

A film you don’t really have to watch, excellent recommendation, does it come in Blu-ray?
Like Lee’s test. Go make a drink, see if you pause it. That is a excellent gauge. Like if you piss in a cup rather than have to pause a film, then it is a boster.

So it comes down to this… the best reason to watch this movie is the soundtrack – and Brian Blessed, if you’re Dan.

@Jeff, I think the best reason to see Flash Gordon is if you like science fiction films from that era and you’ve never seen it before – it really is a must see film… just must see it once or twice
Under Ham and Cheese on TV Tropes:
* Max von Sydow as Ming in the Flash Gordon movie. A touch more restrained than many on this list, but definitely having fun with the part, and Topol as Zarkov is, ironically, a Jewish ham.
* Both of them must have realized that you have to work hard to be remembered in a movie with BRIAN BLESSED!
