I’ve got to add my voice to the thousands(?!) who have missed the witty side-kick intro! It’s up there with the Two Ronnies “It’s goodbye from me” “- and it’s goodbye from him!”

However, in Lee’s defence I actually quite like the ebay segment.

And thanks for putting “The Neverending Story” song back in my head! Mind you, I’m looking forward to that review; I’m quite fond of the movie, and have to admit liking the soundtrack too!

@Dan, the music doesn't bother me. I did notice the "Linus and Lucy" theme probably more than I should, but that could be because I love it and it's burned in my brain. I spent a little time trying to figure out why you picked that one instead of listening. Otherwise, though... sounded good.

@Ian, It's not a bad film, just not half as good as I'd thought it was going to be. As for wandering off topic - I'm not sure we have any control over that kind of thing really. We are forces of nature - if the dice roll is that we stay on topic we will, if not then we will wreak chaos and confusion on all.

Apart from that let-down, this was a really well put together review and made me think about views in this film. That being said though, please bring back a hovercraft-style episode every now and then to keep things interesting.

I LOVED this film when it first came out and was planning on watching it again on the weekend. I don’t think I should now.

Geez, that was kind of organized, on topic, and appropriately segmented. What the hell happened?!

I have a vague recollection of running across this film on TV in the last few months. It kept me for a couple of minutes, but can’t say it pulled more than that outta me. So, good call.
